Natural Acne Cures – Control Acne a Natural Way April 16, 2015

The number one leading cause in skin conditions is acne; today it
affects millions of people. Acne which is also called pimples or zits
will happen when the pores clog with oil, dead skin cells or bacteria
and will appear on various parts on the body. Acne normally begins when
someone begins the puberty process. Due to the hormonal changes, it
creates these lesions to form on the body. The increased hormones cause
extra amounts of sebum to form. Sebum is a bodys way to produce a
natural moisturizer for the skin. When these levels of sebum occur it
can combine with dead cells and bacteria causing the clogged pore to
produce a white or black head.

There are different types of pimples called papules,
pustules, nodules or cysts. Papules will form small red bumps that can
be slightly tender to the touch. Pustules are red around the bump and
will fill with pus. Nodules are large that grow deep under the skin and
can be particular painful. Cysts are extremely painful; it forms deep in
the skin filling up with pus and can cause potential scarring. There
are several other causes which make acne occur such as oily cosmetics,
genetics, medications, menstruation or hormonal disorders.

There
are several different natural home remedies one can use to heal up
acne. To individual pimples apply baking soda formed into paste with
water can help dry the affected area out. Leave baking soda on for ten
minutes then wash off with cold water to help close the pores. Lemon
juice from a natural lemon can help reduce acne breakouts and oily skin.
By cutting the lemon in half gently rub on the pimples the acid will
kill bacteria. Afterwards wipe of the lemon juice and apply a small
amount of sunscreen.

Another way to dry out and make a pimple
smaller in size is to apply white toothpaste. By using ice wrapped in
plastic can help reduce the redness and inflammation to the affected
area. Applying every hour if you have the time to for no longer then
five minutes at a time will bring great results. Another solution is
trying tea tree oil by placing a drop on effected area stop and speed up
the healing process. Apple vinegar contains a certain acid that can
help flush out the pores.

There are prevention methods that can be taken as well to help with
flare ups. Avoid a cleaner that is ruff on skin and gentle washing the
affected areas once to twice a day. Shampooing daily and wear ones hair
off face will help keep the oils of the skin. Another that could help is
avoiding foods that could cause the acne to become worse and flare up.
Do not pick or squeeze the affected area, this could cause irritation,
more bacteria getting into the pore and scarring.

With so many
applications one can heal, control breakouts and improve their skin with
these simple procedures. Even though acne is not curable keeping up
with these treatments will help an individual to have continue to have
improving results.
